Job Description About the Role: As an SAP SD Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP's Sales and Distribution (SD) module. You will work closely with clients to understand their sales and distribution processes and translate them into effective SAP solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Implementation and Configuration: o Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP SD module, including Sales Order Processing, Delivery Processing, Billing, and Shipping. o Customize SAP to meet specific business requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. • Business Process Analysis: o Analyze existing sales and distribution processes to identify areas for improvement and automation. o Design and document optimized processes that leverage the capabilities of SAP SD. • Requirement Gathering: o Conduct workshops and interviews with clients to gather and document functional requirements. o Collaborate with business users to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications. • Testing and Quality Assurance: o Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and accuracy of SAP configurations. o Identify and resolve issues during testing phases. • User Training and Support: o Provide training to end-users on SAP SD functionalities. o Offer ongoing support to resolve user queries and issues. • Project Management: o Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and risk management activities. o Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of deliverables. Required Skills and Experience: • Strong understanding of sales and distribution processes. • In-depth knowledge of SAP SD module, including configuration and customization. • Experience in SAP implementation projects, preferably full-cycle implementations. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus. • Certification in SAP SD module is preferred.
