We at DRJ & Associates Located in Andheri East & Goregaon West (Mumbai) are offering junior accounts assistants an opportunity to enhance their accounting skills further with experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax and other relevant compliances. We are also looking for accountants having experience in handling accounts and GST, TDS and Income Tax of 2+ years. Responsibilities: Bookkeeping and General Ledger: Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger. Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards. Generate financial reports for management Such as MIS , Budget VS Actual Comparison. Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local and national tax regulations. Stay informed about changes in tax laws that may impact the firm or its clients. Filing of Income TAX Return, Filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B TDS Filing Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and provide insights on variances. Audit Support: Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits. Provide necessary documentation and support during audit processes. Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to gather financial information and address queries. Provide financial advice and support to clients as needed. Software Utilization: Utilize accounting software and other financial tools efficiently. Stay updated on advancements in accounting technology. Tally Prime, Tally ERP, Zoho Books Compliance and Regulations: Ensure adherence to accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements. Keep abreast of changes in accounting regulations and communicate their impact. TDS (Tax Deducted at Source): Ensure accurate deduction and timely deposit of TDS as per income tax regulations. Prepare TDS returns and reconcile TDS amounts deducted and deposited. GST (Goods and Services Tax): Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including filing returns and maintaining necessary documentation. Stay updated on GST law changes and communicate their impact on the organization. Assist in GST audits and assessments. E-way Bill and E-invoice: Generate E-way bills for the movement of goods as per GST regulations. Implement and manage E-invoicing processes in compliance with regulatory requirements. Annual Return Filing: Prepare and file annual returns as required by applicable laws. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data for annual return filing. ROC (Registrar of Companies) Compliance: Ensure timely filing of required documents with the ROC. Maintain statutory registers and records in accordance with company law. Reconciliation: Conduct periodic reconciliations of financial transactions, including bank statements, TDS, and GST. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
