Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, developing, and executing design research projects aimed at exploring new concepts, materials, and technologies to foster innovation.
- Support the creation and iteration of prototypes and design models to validate ideas, gather user feedback, and refine solutions effectively.
- Conduct thorough analysis of current design trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to inform and shape R&D strategies and priorities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to seamlessly integrate design improvements into the product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with technical and market requirements.
- Document research findings, design specifications, and project progress meticulously to facilitate transparent communication and stakeholder review.
- Ensure all design activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies to maintain quality and safety benchmarks.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables efficiently to meet established milestones and support overall project success.
- Contribute to the innovation pipeline by suggesting creative solutions, process improvements, and new design approaches that enhance product value and user experience.
- Assist in preparing detailed presentations, reports, and documentation for senior management, external partners, and cross-functional teams to communicate progress and insights.
- Stay abreast of emerging design tools, software, methodologies, and industry best practices to continuously enhance the R&D function's capabilities.
