Job Description:
Overview
This role supports the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the accounting department by managing day-to-day accounting activities and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and assisting in financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Coordinate with auditors and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting with strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Tally.
- Knowledge of taxation laws and compliance requirements.
- Good communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams and external auditors.
