Overview
This role leads the strategic direction and execution of software development initiatives, driving innovation and operational excellence in cloud-based applications and services. The position focuses on leveraging modern technologies to build scalable, reliable, and high-performance software solutions that align with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of software systems using cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams to adopt best practices in coding, testing, and continuous integration/deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with AWS services including EC2 and container orchestration using Docker.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go and Python for backend development.
- Strong knowledge of in-memory data stores like Redis and scalable system architecture.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems design.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code and automation tools.
- Background in performance tuning and security best practices in cloud environments.
