Job OverviewThis role is centered on supporting and advancing research and development activities specifically related to design innovation and enhancement within an organization. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in assisting the conceptualization, development, and refinement of design solutions that are aligned with both organizational objectives and evolving market demands. This position requires a proactive and collaborative approach, working closely with cross-functional teams such as product development, engineering, marketing, and quality assurance to ensure that design initiatives are not only innovative but also feasible and meet customer expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning, developing, and executing design research projects aimed at exploring new concepts, materials, and technologies to foster innovation.Support the creation and iteration of prototypes and design models to validate ideas, gather user feedback, and refine solutions effectively.Conduct thorough analysis of current design trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to inform and shape R&D strategies and priorities.Coordinate with internal teams to seamlessly integrate design improvements into the product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with technical and market requirements.Document research findings, design specifications, and project progress meticulously to facilitate transparent communication and stakeholder review.Ensure all design activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies to maintain quality and safety benchmarks.Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables efficiently to meet established milestones and support overall project success.Contribute to the innovation pipeline by suggesting creative solutions, process improvements, and new design approaches that enhance product value and user experience.Assist in preparing detailed presentations, reports, and documentation for senior management, external partners, and cross-functional teams to communicate progress and insights.Stay abreast of emerging design tools, software, methodologies, and industry best practices to continuously enhance the R&D function's capabilities.Skills and CompetenciesStrong understanding of fundamental and advanced desig
