GCP Data Engineer certification is preferred, and experience working on Agile projects is a plus. Key Responsibilities: 1. Data Engineering and Best Practices: o Implement best practices for GCP data engineering, including data governance, security, and optimization strategies. o Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in data pipelines and cloud infrastructure. o Monitor data pipelines to ensure they are functioning efficiently and can handle high volumes of data. Mandatory Skills: • GCP Migration: Extensive experience in GCP migration projects, handling large-scale data migrations from on-premise or other cloud environments. • BigQuery and Python: Strong proficiency in BigQuery for data storage, querying, and analysis, and Python for data processing, scripting, and automation. • Cloud Data Engineering: 5+ years of experience in cloud data engineering, designing, and maintaining data pipelines.
